Three watchables

Arnold Schwarzenegger stars a retired commando who gets caught up in a private war when a dictator kidnaps his daughter. This classic Arnold thrills with lots of action and silly plot. Bullets fly and the bad guys fall.

Good for a popcorn filled afternoon of mindless entertainment. North Bend has the DVD and Bandon has the VHS.

In another action packed adventure, Sylvester Stallone, stars as a climber who tries to rescue some bad guys from a mountain. They're true aims are to find their missing loot and kill anyone who gets in their way.

Bandon has the DVD and VHS, additional tapes in Myrtle Point, Lakeside and North Bend.

Cliffhanger (Collector's Edition)

When I grabbed this the plot didn't really excite me, but the film itself is much better than the description. Charles Bronson runs a boat charter and lives with his pretty wife until his past sneaks up on him.

A group of drug smugglers force him to help them when they break in and hold his wife and stepdaughter hostage He turns the tables on them and starts picking them off one by one. The production values are a bit low, yet it held my interest throughout.

Head on out to Bandon, Coquille and Lakeside for this interesting DVD. North Bend has a copy on VHS.
