NOT FOR CHILDREN! You may learn a few choice words and see simulated sex and violence that would offend the most seasoned viewer. HOWEVER, the plot, acting, set design draw you in so deep you wont want to turn it off.
Timothy Olyphant stars as a hardware merchant who comes into the unregulated territory of Deadwood. His partner played subtly by John Hawkes, hope to make money selling mining supplies.
Saloon owner, Ian McShane, plots with hotel owner, William Sanderson, to control all the action within Deadwood. Their actions end up causing the death of several townsfolk in the first few episodes. Plots and subplots abound. Though it's clear who has honor and who should be avoided.
Being a non western fan, any series that gets me to sit for hours waiting for the next intrigue, has to be great. Look for Season one in both Coos Bay and Bandon . Find season two in Baondon alone.
