Day two, Double Post Week

Wow! Very interesting comments on IMDB about this. Click on the link and have a look for yourself. A high school boy tries to save a keep sake of the girl he likes and finds out he can teleport himself. Everyone including his father thinks he's dead. He soon figures out he's considered by some an abomination against God.

Samuel L. Jackson plays a vengeful killer who chases these "jumpers" around. The young man goes back to try and pick up with the girl he left behind in high school. He takes her on an international adventure and eventually shows her he can travel through space.

Look for the DVD in Dora, Bandon, Powers and Myrtle Point.

Ok, I guess it says this on the box: "After five years in a prison for the criminally insane, autistic Manny returns to Reno. He moves into a motel, and takes a job as a clerk at the Hotel El Cortez. Soon Manny is caught in a labyrinth that leads to a murderous triple cross"

Somehow I missed that part in the story so I think it's worth noting that he was "criminally insane." This is one of the best performances I've seen from Lou Diamond Phillips. He really made you think. Everyone else turned in predictable and rather dull performances. We see a whole lotta conning telegraphed in their acting.

It's somewhat dreary, so be prepared. Look for the DVD in Bandon.
