Danielle Steel list

Craptastic romance between widow Melissa Gilbert, and divorced Brad Johnson. I agree 100% with the IMDB reviewer who said that Gilbert needs to stop trying to do accents. She's terrible at them. She's supposed to be a French woman and comes off sounding Russian.

The convoluted story seemed trite and contrived. The widow sits and wallows in her own distress on the same beach with the painterly morose Matt. Her daughter brings them together.

John Ritter and Polly Draper live in the same neighborhood, work at the same film studio and drive interesting vintage cars. Yet, they don't meet until after she's single. Her husband makes it clear he doesn't want to have anything to do with babies and Draper's character finds herself pregnant. She decides that keeping the baby is more important and her husband leaves her.

I enjoyed the acting and plot a lot more with this one. Still not great, but if you want to watch a made for tv movie, have a look.

Gabrielle Carteris (from Beverly Hills 90210 fame) plays a woman trying hard to have a baby. I found her convincing in her role. Two other couples struggle with baby issues. An older couple lose one of their twins and Scott Baio has trouble with his wife cheating and getting pregnant with another man's child.

I found the mixing of the various stories too scattered to really entertain me. It all seemed forced, with fake drama. Resentments and stresses don't go away as easy as this story implies.
