Movie Review: Envy

Envy

I must say I'm not a huge Ben Stiller or Jack Black fan so I went in dubious about this one. Black's character rides to work with Stiller every day. His constant blather about wild inane inventions annoy Stiller to no end. So one day, Black invents a magic spray that makes dog doo disappear.

Black invites Stiller invest in his company for only $2000. Stiller's wife tells him to do it but he just continues to think how stupid the whole thing is. Black builds a giant house across the street from his friend further annoying him.

Finally Stiller can't take it anymore and loses it. Christopher Walken shows up to stirr the pot and make this already convoluted story even more annoying.

Though I think it's a real dog, I did watch it all the way through. Murry says it's because they didn't stay on the most inane scenes for very long. So you're left sitting there going.. hmmm and before you decide to switch if off, they're on to something else.

Find this DVD in Coos Bay and North Bend. There's also a VHS in Lakeside.
