Kiddie Soso Post

A dinosaur egg gets separated from his family and finds a home among some lemurs. When a meteor shower ruins that home, the odd family hooks up with his reptile kind and lots of other animals on a migration to their nesting grounds.

The idea that such vastly different kinds of animals manage to get along reminded me of the film Ice Age. I don't really like all that humanizing of animals, and we didn't have a bunch of super talented voice acting going on this film. It's ok, but probably a bit too scary for little kids too.

Upon hearing his family has plans to move out of his community, Max decides to burn all his bridges and mess with all his friends and enemies. Then dad seeing how distressed he is over moving, changes his mind. This MIGHT appeal to a 12 year old, but not younger kids and not to adults. I didn't like the revenge seeking and feel it sends a wrong message to kids.

While this technically isn't for kids, I thought it had a child like air and might only appeal to them. Jerry Lewis stars as a young man studying to be a doctor who can't seem to get his act together. Then a mysterious girl from his past shows up and he finds he can help her.

I'm not really a big fan of physical comedy and this is a bit too three stooges without Moe and Larry. Give me Marx Brothers over this. If you like Lewis, though, check it out.

Wow the folks at IMDB really didn't like this film. Doogal crashes around causing a problem and has to crash around to fix it. I don't really understand the mythos they're basing this story on and I guess neither did they.

I found it a dumb meandering mostly waste of time and also scary for kids.Whoopi Goldberg voices one of the humans and I like her so that kinda pushed it over Dog status for me.
