Movie Review: Audrey Hepburn Films

Desperate to find a millionaire husband, Holly Golightly (Hepburn) gives lavish soirées in her small apartment. She pals around with her neighbor and kept man writer, Paul Varjack (George Peppard). This bitter sweet tale will play with your heartstrings.

Audrey plays a young princess who manages to escape the grind of courtley duties to spend a couple days in Rome with an attractive man who turns out to be a reporter. Gregory Peck positively oozes charm. This classic chem just shows off both their talents nicely.

Roman Holiday (Special Collector's Edition)

A naive chauffers daughter goes off to Paris for school and comes back more self assured. The playboy son of the family her father worked for all her life meets her at the train station and does not recognize her. He falls instantly in lust and tries to charm her into his arms. The wealthy family, especially the older brother Lunus (Humphrey Bogart), objects and tries to prevent the union.

Her beau gets injured at a party and his older brother swoops in to distract her from her attachment to his brother. Older brother and chauffeurs daughter fall in love, but Linus does not how to love a sweet young woman. I think it's a stretch to see Bogart and Hepburn as love interests but they're both so charming it doesn't really matter.
