Movie Review: Baby Mama

Again, the trailer made this look really stupid but when I started watching I just laughed and felt charmed. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler make an outstanding comedy team.

Fey's character gets bad news from her doctor saying she can't have a baby. So she goes to a surrogate place run by Sigourney Weaver and arranges to have a woman implanted with her eggs. Poehler shows up with her white trash "common law" husband and Fey is just so grateful to have a child she doesn't ask any questions.

Yeah, like that's gonna happen. Ah, well, it's comedy it doesn't have to be rational. Do look for hippy dippy Steve Martin as Fey's boss and a few scenes with Greg Kinnear who plays a white collar professional turned blue collar business owner.

Look for the DVD in these libraries: Baondon, Coos Bay, Coquille, Dora, Myrtle Point, North Bend and Powers.
